Of course the Pope is right is saying an excessive demand for sovereignty isn’t good, BUT surely   he is in favor of a minimal request for sovereignty, which is all that a wall on our boarder represents. 
So often the Pope’s thoughts can be made more understandable if you just change an adjective or two.
